60 hydrogel patches (30 pairs) with marine collagen, niacinamide and beta-glucan. The gel matrix releases the actives gradually under the eye over 15-20 minutes, 2-3 times a week. The 24K gold in the formula is aesthetic — the work comes from the hydrogel and the actives, not the gold. Dermatologically tested.
Conformity: CPNP cosmetic
Return Right: 14 Days
Patches sit fully soaked in the serum so the gel matrix stays loaded with actives until the moment you pull a pair out. Close the lid tight after each use to prevent the gel from drying.
A hydrogel is a polymer network that holds 60-90% water plus dissolved actives. On contact with skin, it cools the area (drains tiny blood vessels under the eye — visible "de-puff") and releases the molecules dissolved in the gel into the stratum corneum over 15-20 minutes. Past that window, the gel dries and there's no benefit to leaving it on longer.
Vitamin B3 derivative. Repeatedly studied (J. Cosmet. Dermatol., Int. J. Dermatol.) at 2-5% concentrations for reducing transepidermal water loss, calming the skin and slightly lifting pigmented dark circles. It penetrates — molecular weight ~122 Da.
A water-binding polysaccharide. Beta-glucan film holds water in the stratum corneum and is documented for soothing irritation. The effect at the moment of application is a hydrated, "plumped" look around the eye — especially valuable on dehydrated mornings.
Pure gold is chemically inert at the temperature of human skin. It does not penetrate, does not bind, does not react. What it does on the patch: looks gold under the camera. We're keeping it because it does no harm, but we won't write that "gold rejuvenates the cells" — that's not how chemistry works.
Dark circles come from three main mechanisms: vascular (visible vessels through thin skin — hereditary), pigmented (excess melanin) and structural (hollow tear trough, eye position). Eye patches do not change anatomy. The effect is hydration, calming, temporary visual reduction of puffiness. For real fixes on vascular/structural, see a dermatologist.
