The stain isn't ON the sofa.
It's IN the sofa. 11 kPa pulls it out.

A spilled coffee doesn’t sit on the surface — it soaks down into the fibre and the padding underneath. The C5 sprays cleaning solution under pressure from its 1,500 ml tank straight into the fabric, loosening the dirt at the depth where it actually is. A cloth never reaches that layer; it only touches what you can see.

This is the step wiping can’t do. The 450W motor generates 11 kPa of suction at the cleaning head and vacuums the now-dirty solution out of the fibre. Wiping moves dirt around at the surface and pushes part of it deeper; extraction removes it from the material entirely. That’s the whole difference between the two methods, and it’s mechanical, not marketing.

Clean water and dirty water live in separate tanks — 1,500 ml in, 790 ml collected out. When you finish a sofa, you pour out a tank of brown water that was, until an hour ago, inside the cushions you sit on. No before/after photo argues as convincingly as that tank. The 5 m cable reaches around a living room or into a parked car without extension cords.

✗ It does not leave the fabric dry. Extraction removes most of the water, but the sofa stays damp and needs hours of airing before you sit back down — plan the cleaning, don’t improvise it before guests arrive.

✗ It does not undo dye or bleach damage. A discoloration is not dirt — if the colour itself is gone, no amount of extraction brings it back.

✗ It does not belong on water-sensitive fabrics. Silk, some velvets and anything labelled dry-clean-only don’t tolerate wet cleaning — check the label first, test a hidden corner.
