PVA film that swells with water
ChemistryThe strip is a polyvinyl alcohol film. Water makes the adhesive swell and become tacky, gluing to anything protruding from the open pore — solidified sebum, dead corneocytes, dust.
Mechanical extraction on peel
MechanicalWhen the strip dries (10-15 min) it tensions over the skin. Peel slowly, from edge to center: the plugs come up with the film. What you see on the back of the strip is what was sitting in the pore openings.
Charcoal is cosmetic, not therapeutic
TransparencyThe black coating is activated charcoal — high surface area, traditionally promoted for “drawing out” impurities. On the skin, in 15 minutes, it contributes mainly visual contrast (you see the lifted plugs more clearly). The work is the PVA film, not the carbon.

1-2 times a week, max. The mechanical action is real — daily use stresses the stratum corneum and can cause redness or broken capillaries on sensitive skin.
No. Pore size is anatomical (largely genetic). What strips do: empty the pore. An empty pore reflects light better — visually, it looks smaller. The diameter doesn’t change.
No. For inflamed pimples with a white head, use the GRITUAL pimple patches. For comedones below the skin, you need salicylic acid or retinoids. Nose strips only address what’s already at the surface of an open pore.
A pull, yes. If it really hurts, you left it on too long and it dried beyond the right window. Re-wet the strip with water, wait 30 seconds, then peel.
Patch test on the jawline first. If the skin reacts with redness lasting more than 30 minutes or the area feels burned, this product isn’t for you.
